Which should not be shocking. I am stalled on getting this disc out cause I am not getting enough orders. Not a big deal, may just revamp the thing to be a more artistic piece, with packaging expanded and numbers reduced.

Working on it, thinking about it!  Let me know what you all think.

For the few, the brave, the non-thrifty, who purchased the advance of the Exterminating Angel CD, I am thinking I might post the complete record, and then some. on here with a password. It is slowly progressing but I feel kind of bad you paid for something but cannot HEAR it. The recording is obviously done therefore , sometime soon, I am going to put the record up here for you payee types (and only you) to listen to. I am also going to include the outtakes that were going to be on the digital only version of the record that will not now exist as such.

I may even add some other stuff. In fact. I am so grateful to all of you I may put some new music up here that only you all can get too.

Thanks kids.

$122. Not exactly Jill Sobule #s but what do you want? I figure this is about 20 percent of what I need to get this done. Earlier I had a smaller number but that was because I am dimwit and did the math wrong. I toyed with the idea of dispensing with the digipack and going with something cheaper but then the art would have to be redone and since I haven't paid the ARTIST yet I don't think that is likely.

I am hoping I do not have to refund money!!! Keep your fingers crossed! Do you think I should stream the music here and sell it that way? Or does that just make people figure it is FREEEEEE....Which it ain't!

Yes yes yes. I have been neglecting this site. I just haven't had much new to write. We are chugging along with collecting money to get The Exterminating Angel out. SLOWLY but surely. Our friends at Projekt and Musictap have been helping to spread the word. I am guessing I am about 20 percent of the way to having it together to get the record out.

And I want to be clear. It isn't JUST about money. It is about--if there are not enough people who WANT a CD..why DO a CD?  I do not need boxes of CDs to make a coffee table out of. The music exists either way...but if you order that you will have one of a very few! Of this I assure you!

But I forgot what the hell it was.

I remember thinking these mixes were really cool (by Ashkelon Sain) but that the vocals didn't fit anymore. ACTUALLY the music was better than the original. Such is life! The mismatching of the vocals made me uncomfortable with releasing the one track on a for sale thing...but, obviously, I have no problem with putting whatever crap up HERE....

I also had a great DJ Puzzle (Jason Donnelly) mix somewhere of one of the tracks from this record and I hope to find it. I would also put up some very old live shows but I do not have a DAT player (or the inclination to listen to all that shit and master it either!)

This is a picture from a small article done for Alternative Press in 1997...I don't look very goth do I?

I am debating which of the two demos I have ready to go.  This is a relatively MELLOW record. Not rocking very much at ALL here. Some of it is, still, mercifully, weird.  Been waiting around for some music to get out and watch. Haven't seen a lot lately because I have been a combination of lazy and busy. This has kept me inside.

I think the answer to this is pretty simple. Once this CD is sorted out and pressed and a memory I think I may make the bulk of it available for download somewhere. Depending on when it is done and what my circumstances are I should do some live shows with the band--or some mutant form of the band.

Ideally I would play three or four dates and would LOVE to do some on the West Coast. Again, ideally, I would prefer to play on someone else's bill! When you put out records once a decade being the main act on a bill is a recipe for having 9 people show up. My dream set of shows would be to play somewhere in Northern California, Chicago, Florida and Mexico City. But I have odd dreams I guess.

I know I do not publicize this blog much but since people doooo come to the site. Let me know what you think. I was thinking a three piece version of the band like we had in the old days would be ideal. There is no reason to "rock" the new material. Oh! I would love to play in Toronto again too...

I mean I like some parts of it but really? I could be doing more constructive things.  It isn't like I spend sooo much time doing it but I am so damned busy.  I was thinking today, for instance, briefly, about playing live whenever I do get my new CD out. But then I thought? Why?

The last two times I played, once with a band and once solo, I would have rather been at home watching Star Trek reruns. I am sure the folks watching (or not watching) can tell. Not very professional I know. Then there  is the time to get a band on the same page and really INTO what you are doing. It is just too much.

Recording is more feasible and probably more fun for me anyway.
