There is some news on the Thanatos show in NYC at Spectrum (121 Ludlow St, Second Floor New York) on Friday, September 27.  Niabi, from New York City, is now on the bill. I could not be happier about this! I looked at a few bands to be on this bill that I really loved but just sort of kept looking for the perfect fit...and I think Niabi is it. A great contrast to Thanatos acoustic and Binary Partners.

Remember if you get tickets in advance they are a wee bit cheaper and also? It sort of makes me less nervous about doing this show. I am one of those people who cannot throw a party because I am always sure no one is going to show up.

For those not familiar with the first Thanatos LP, "This Endless Night Inside"  (this is, again, a show related to the 20th anniversary of the release of this LP) I may put the LP up streaming at Soundcloud or someplace. More on that soon!

Tickets for the Thanatos (acoustic) show in NYC are now on sale. Advance tickets are $10. Go HERE to purchase tickets. At the door tickets will be $15. The show will take place Friday September 27, 2013 at 8 p.m.

The show will be Thanatos  with electronic artists, Binary Partners and a third band to be named SOON.

I still do not know for sure if the the Thanatos will be me playing solo or with another Thanatos alumnus or two but just expect me so you won't be disappointed.  I plan on bringing some Thanatos releases and memorobilia stuff that will be...wait for it...FREE. Just come out to the show and celebrate the 20th anniversary of This Endless Night Inside.

On September 27, 2013 Thanatos (in this case likely me by myself...but you never know) will, as mentioned earlier, be playing at New Spectrum in NYC (121 Ludlow). This show coincides with the 20th anniversary of the first Thanatos LP, This Endless Night Inside. I will be playing tracks from that LP that I've never played live before and that I havent played live for some time.

I wanted to announce that also on the three band bill will be Binary Partners out of Chicago--noisy, experimental with a dash of humor ambient...Lord I do not know what to call them. But they will be fun to see and hear. And they may scare you too.

Not sure who is playing when on this bill and I am looking at a few other possibilities to add to it.  More on where to get tickets shortly.

 To say this is a "rare" show is putting it mildly!  Last time was something like 2 and a half years ago.
